Nichola trained in the UK for 3 years to become a Beauty Therapist, studying in all aspects of beauty. When Nichola returned to the UK, her reputation as a fantastic beauty therapist in Scotland grew quickly, thanks to word of mouth recommendations from friends and clients. As her freelance career skyrocketed, she decided to move to London and scored her first editorial job with top-class fashion photographer Michel Comte when he needed a manicurist at the last minute.
From then on, Nichola would be in high demand. To date, she has worked with top photographers like Craig McDean, Terry Richardson ,Inns & Vanood, David Slyper, David Simms, Mary McCartney, Rankin, David Bailey and Patrick Demarchelier. Backstage at fashion shows for designers Stella McCartney, Roland Mouret, Issa, Julien McDonald, Johnatha Saunders, Carlos Miele and Matthew Williamson and Campaigns such as Stella McCartney, Gucci, Chloe, GAP, M&S, Top Shop, L’Oreal, St Tropez and L’Occitane skincare products.
In October 2008 Nichola was nominated for a Tastemaker Award, an accolade award at the Scottish Style Awards – this is for inspirational work done within her industry and is a highly acclaimed award for achievments and success as a Scot.
As a beauty therapist, Nichola combines all of her experience to create well informed, bespoke treatments that yield immediate results, and have her clients coming back for more. She believes in tailoring each facial and massage to the clients’ specific needs, carefully selecting the right products to achieve the right purpose. With such an innate understanding of skin, it’s no wonder that Nichola also represents luxurious skincare brands L’Occitane and St. Tropez as a skincare and tanning expert, and actively participates in their product development.
